I had the opportunity to make some observations about recycling and upcycling around me, my family and my school for a week and I realized that there were some problems. First of all, I want to talk about some problems with my family where I live. First of all, my mother is very sensitive about recycling and upcycling, but she collects plastic bottles, bags and waste materials such as paper in one place and throws them directly into the trash. Mom, why do you do that, and if I tell you it’s better if we sort out the trash, she says, “We don’t have so many trash cans,” or what a need, a trash can answer all the trash. On the other hand, my father and brother have no idea about these issues and have no thinking about the importance of recycling and upcycle. So in general, the problem about this issue in our family is not to have enough consciousness.
At school, it is generally not possible to dispose of the garbage in the trash. In other words, although there are separate recycling bins such as paper, glass and plastic, some of the students do not use these bins. They don’t use these boxes, but instead of throwing their trash in the trash, we can find lots of trash on the floor or on the table.
Other than that, some students, including myself, smoke. Instead of throwing it in the trash after the cigarette is finished, some of them throw it on the floor. Cigarette is harmful to both the air and the environment, but at least by throwing them in the trash can reduce the environmental pollution to a little bit, we can reduce the carbon footprint.

In addition, the litter in the student village houses is kept in a single bag unallocated and disposed of directly in the garbage collection vehicle, ie a recyclable material is disposed of directly in the garbage without being recycled.
